Screen Time Relief

If your best friend is your smarphone these days, you’re not alone.

All that time alone practicing social distancing to prevent the spread of COVID-19  can leave you vulnerable to spending quality time with none other than your digital devices. From smartphones, televisions, laptops, and iPads, concentrated exposure to these devices, unfortunately, leaves an unhealthy residue in your skin and body.

Your skin is the largest body organ, and the only one that is directly exposed to the elements and visible to everyone. Keeping is soft and supple is important to your health, appearances, and ultimately your sense of well-being.

What does this mean for you?

Be mindful of the amount of time spent exposed to your digital devices, and have regular detox baths to counteract exposure.

Here’s a gentle Detox Bath to get you started:

1 cup of baking soda

1 1/2 cup of sea salt or Epson salt

Keep your bath warm, not hot, and soak for no longer than 20 minutes

TIPS: Warm water alone is therapeutic, and can relax muscles, open your pores, ease stress and help you unwind.
